What's Open Neo-Language ?

ONL is a modern language that focuses on different solutions to various issues that current languages do not necessarily address. It is easy to learn without losing sight of the richness of its vocabulary thanks to its modular system, in which words are invented from scratch and are not derived from any common root. The structure of the language is inspired by English and French.

The first point that ONL emphasises is neutrality: there are no gender markers because they are not essential. The only gender markers are words that define a person's gender (including biological sex, civility, etc.).

The second point is the definition of gender and sexuality. This system differs from most advances in most languages: there is a word for each gender that exists. Then, to talk about an attraction, whether sexual or romantic (aesthetic attraction is absent because I consider it to be a matter of taste, not orientation), you only add a particle specifying the attraction. The grammar section will be more detailed, of course, but words equivalent to ‘homosexual, heterosexual’, etc. do not exist because they are not essential to defining one's attractions.

The third point is, of course, simplicity and accessibility: it is quick and easy to learn the language, the system is fairly intuitive, and the only part that will take time is learning the vocabulary, as with all languages.

The fourth point is nuance: thanks to the particle system, there are a large number of different nuances available to express oneself more precisely.

There is also a flag to represent the language. It is not vital, but I had to make one for the website icon. So here it is.
